The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences includes the Office of the Dean for Liberal Arts and Sciences, Early College Programs, Interdisciplinary Studies, and the Divisions of Humanities, Physical Life Movement & Sport Sciences, and Social Sciences. Reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean, the Director of Early College Programs, and the Division Chairs work collaboratively, in partnership with faculty, to offer a wide range of high-quality professional programs to a diverse student body.

Humanities Division

The Humanities cultivates transferable and marketable skills (critical thinking and problem-solving, analysis and research, written and oral communication) in our students while studying the human experience. Our programs prepare students to succeed in career and graduate school opportunities.

The Social Sciences Major is a liberal arts major that provides a balance between domestic, regional , and global issues.

Discover and create knowledge about human beings as well as help better the human condition through psychological services.

Early College Programs

Earn college credit while fulfilling high school graduation requirements. Partnerships with area Idaho and Washington high schools, allow students to take courses at their high school, online, or on campus.

Interdisciplinary Studies

The Interdisciplinary Studies degree provides the opportunity for student to develop a coherent degree plan that includes two broadly-defined areas of study leading to an integrated educational objective.
